Automatic Routing

Fernweh routes across the best available path and falls back to the internet relay when you're online. The switch between online and offline is seamless. Messages just keep flowing.

Centralized

Traditional messaging apps route every message through centralized servers. Your device sends data to the server, which processes and forwards it to the recipient's device. This hub-and-spoke architecture is fast and efficient when network infrastructure is available, but creates a single point of failure.
